The investment strategy pursued by the Vita Joint Foundation differs considerably from that of a classic insurance solution. Broad diversification, a high equity allocation as well as investments in alternative assets such as hedge funds allow for attractive performance prospects. The risk/return profile of the portfolio is optimized on an ongoing basis through clearly defined investment selection and monitoring processes. Value fluctuation reserves are allocated for additional security.

The profits belong to you
Interest is paid on the LOB retirement savings with the investment income and reserves are allocated. Any extra income is allocated to our customers – not just the statutory 90 percent for life insurance companies. This income is credited to the insured persons.
